FITT digital badges are verified digital credentials that allow you to easily showcase FITT training and credential accomplishments online. We understand that communicating your international business skills and achievements in an ever-expanding online marketplace can be challenging. That is why we have partnered with Credly to provide you with digital badges to showcase those accomplishments.

Digital badges can be used in email signatures or digital resumes, and on social media sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. These badges contain verified metadata that describes your qualifications and the process required to earn them.

Once you’ve earned a badge, you’ll receive an email notification from Credly (our digital badging platform partner) with instructions to set up your account, claim and share your badge.

FITT currently offers five tiers of digital badges to verify and share your achievements in different levels of industry-backed international business knowledge and skills development. 

These digital badges display your specific competencies in areas that make a difference to competitive organizations. 

You can earn multiple badges and showcase them to prospective employers, clients and colleagues anywhere, anytime.

Being awarded the CITP®|FIBP® designation and corresponding badges proves a thorough grasp of international trade processes, a commitment to global trade, and a dedication to ethical business practices and ongoing professional development.

 

The FITT Diploma in International Trade credential and corresponding badge is presented to individuals who have successfully completed the FITTskills program requirements, or the equivalency thereof.

 

The FITT Certificate in International Trade credential and corresponding badge is presented to individuals who have successfully completed the FITTskills program certificate requirements, or the equivalency thereof.

What are the benefits of a badge?
Representing your skills as a badge allows you to share your abilities online in a way that is simple, trusted and can be easily verified in real time. Badges provide employers and peers additional evidence of what you’ve accomplished and what you’re now capable of. Credly also offers labour market insights, based on your skills. You can search and apply for job opportunities directly through Credly.
Who is Credly?
Credly is the end-to-end solution for issuing and managing digital badging credentials. Credly works with credible organizations to provide digital badges to individuals, worldwide.
How will I know if I’ve earned a badge?
You will receive an email notification from Credly (admin@credly.com) with instructions for claiming your badge and setting up your account.
What if I don’t want my badge to be public?
You can easily configure your privacy settings in Credly. You’re in complete control of the information about yourself that is made public.
Is there a fee to use Credly?
No. This is a service we provide to you, at no cost.
What’s to keep someone else from copying my badge and using it?
While badges are simply digital image files, they are uniquely linked to data hosted on Credly. This link to verified data makes them more reliable and secure than a paper-based certificate. It also eliminates the possibility of anyone claiming your badge and your associated identity.
Where and how can I share my badge through Credly?
You can share your badge directly from Credly to LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook; over email; embedded in a website or in your email signature.
Can I import badges issued from other platforms into Credly?
Not at this time.
